Аннотация. На основе новых для российской историографии материалов Национального архива Великобритании автор проанализировал эволюцию оценок английским политическим и военным руководством потенциальных угроз безопасности своей страны со стороны Франции в 1920-е гг. и их влияние на военно-политические решения Лондона.
Summary. Based on the material of the National Archives of Great Britain, which are new for the Russian historiography, the author analyzed the evolution of estimates by British political and military leaders of the potential security risks of the country from France in the 1920s and their influence on the military-political decisions of London.
